Privacy Policy
ReactionLab is designed to keep your analysis local by default. The app stores project data on your Mac, uses Keychain for supported credentials, and only exchanges information with third-party services when you choose to connect them.
Contents
1. Who we are
ReactionLab is developed and published by COBI Management SRL, trading as HighRoad Software ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the ReactionLab macOS application and its related website handle information.
2. Data we collect
ReactionLab is built to operate locally and does not require an account. The app does not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or tracking pixels in the desktop product.
Depending on how you use the app, ReactionLab may store the following information on your Mac:
- Project titles, workspace kinds, and focus topics
- Source connector settings and monitoring rules
- Imported documents, extracted text, and generated reports
- Local graph data, simulation results, and briefing content
- Settings and preferences you choose inside the app
Supported credential values are stored in macOS Keychain when available. The app keeps only presence flags or configuration metadata in local storage where needed to determine whether a credential exists.
3. Local storage and processing
ReactionLab stores its project data locally on your Mac in the app's data directory. Processing such as file ingestion, monitoring refreshes, graph extraction, simulation, and export generation happens on your device unless you explicitly use a cloud or third-party connector.
We do not receive your workspace content as part of normal desktop use. If you delete the app data folder, your local project data is removed from that machine.
4. Optional third-party services
ReactionLab can connect to external services only when you enable them. Examples include cloud language model providers, OpenRouter, NewsAPI, GDELT, Reddit Search, GitHub Search, YouTube Search, Hacker News, and RSS or web sources you choose to add.
When you use one of these optional services, the app may transmit the data required for that service to function. That can include search terms, source URLs, relevant excerpts, or other user-provided workspace context. Each provider handles the data it receives under its own privacy policy.
For cloud language model use, only the relevant passages or prompts needed for the response are sent to the selected provider. You control whether to use a cloud runtime or a local runtime.
5. App Store purchases
If ReactionLab is distributed through the Apple App Store, purchases, subscriptions, and refund handling are managed by Apple. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple may provide us with limited purchase confirmation data to validate access.
6. Children
ReactionLab is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information in connection with the app, contact us at privacy@highroadsoftware.com.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict personal data. Because ReactionLab is primarily a local desktop app, most data is controlled directly on your device. If you need help with a privacy request, contact us and we will respond as appropriate under applicable law.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page always reflects the latest version. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
